A turmeric-orange lemonade works ‘beyond imagination’ to support your health. It literally drowns inflammation in deep water!
Yes, if you are looking for the most powerful, natural anti-inflammatories, look no further than turmeric, ginger and citrus fruits! These natural remedies can outdo anti-Inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen and aspirin even when used on their own, let alone when combined!
The truth is, when you combine powerful agents such as turmeric, ginger, orange, lemon, carrots, and the Holy basil herb, what you get is a ‘master healer’ drink!
The turmeric comes from the root of the Curcuma longa plant and has a tough brown skin and a deep orange flesh. Turmeric has long been used as a powerful anti-inflammatory in both the Chinese and Indian systems of medicine.
The turmeric plant was traditionally called “Indian saffron” because of its deep yellow-orange color, and has been used throughout the history as a healing remedy, condiment, and a vibrant textile dye.
Just like the turmeric, the ginger plant is another unbeatable anti-inflammatory ‘power ball’ that fires up digestive juices in your stomach, and thus helps in absorption and targeted distribution of many essential nutrients brought inside the body.
Notably, neurodegenerative diseases may be aided by its ability to inhibit nitrous oxide production and pro-inflammatory cytokines.
The praise also goes for the Holy basil, which is another wonder-herb, hence it got its epithet ‘Holy.’ It contains compounds similar to those found in cannabis and oregano, making it a great alternative to medical marijuana as it offers the same-intensity pain relief, yet without the ‘addictive high’ that is without the opiating effect.
The holy basil contains compounds called BCPs, which can combat inflammation in a manner similar to cannabis. It has been proven to eliminate swelling and pain from arthritis.
Scientific research has demonstrated that the Holy basil indeed works just as well as pharmaceutical anti-inflammatory drugs: “The fixed oil of Ocimum sanctum (Labiatae) or Holy basil was found to possess significant anti-inflammatory activity against carrageenan- and different other mediator-induced paw edema in rats.
Significant inhibitory effect was also observed in castor oil-induced diarrhea in rats. It also inhibited arachidonic acid and leukotriene-induced paw edema. The results of anti-inflammatory activity of Ocimum sanctum support the dual inhibition of arachidonate metabolism as indicated by its activity in inflammation models that are insensitive to selective cyclooxygenase inhibitors.
On the basis of the findings, it may be inferred that Ocimum sanctum may be a useful anti-inflammatory agent which blocks both the pathways, i.e. cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase, of arachidonic acid metabolism.”
This juice is believed to supply natural support to the body when it is fighting against arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, cystic fibrosis, and other inflammation-based diseases. It is also abundantly anti-cancerous and inhibits cancerous cell growth and metastasis.
For these reasons, I would suggest drinking this juice every day of the week, and continue to do so until your symptoms entirely subside.
