A Heavy Metal Cilantro Detox Juice Recipe For Your Next Cleansing

Almost all of us have been exposed to toxic levels of heavy metals that over time accumulated in our bodies.
Heavy metals, such as mercury, lead and aluminum, accumulate in the body over time and are suspected of triggering dangerous conditions like heart disease, thyroid problems, dementia, neurological conditions, autism, infertility and birth defects.

The good news is that a heavy metal detox juice recipe can remove these contaminants from our bodies and minimize their impact on our health.

Cilantro (or coriander) health benefits
One of the best, easiest and by far the most delicious way of helping our bodies detoxify heavy metals is to eat a lot of cilantro. Cilantro is an incredible herb that is usually adored or detested for its taste. It is one of the popular Mediterranean herbs, which is commonly recognized as leaf-coriander in Asia.

It is widely employed in savory dishes in almost all parts of the world. If you haven’t tried it before, start small! If you love it, you’ll soon be eating loads of it in salads, smoothies, juices, soups and more!

Cilantro herb is very low in calories and contains no cholesterol. However, its deep-green leaves possess good amounts of antioxidants, essential oils, vitamins, and dietary fiber, which help reduce LDL or “bad cholesterol” while rising HDL or “good cholesterol” levels.

Its leaves and seeds contain many essential volatile oils such as borneol, linalool, cineole, cymene, terpineol, dipentene, phellandrene, pinene, and terpinolene.

The leaves and stem tips are also rich in numerous anti-oxidant polyphenolic flavonoids such as quercetin, kaempferol, rhamnetin, and epigenin. The herb is a good source of minerals like potassium, calcium, manganese, iron, and magnesium.

Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids that helps control heart rate and blood pressure. Iron is essential for red blood cell production. Manganese is used by the body as a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme, superoxide dismutase.
