16. Get confident
Don’t worry about what others think. It’s your health. It’s your life. It’s your responsibility. And when others see how great you’re doing they’ll want to jump on the raw food wagon too!
17. Get your hands on organic
Start buying organic. It means cleaner more nutritious produce and as this is the basis of your raw food diet, get the best you can!
18.Get the principles right, forget the rules
Don’t worry about perfection and being 100% hard-core raw, complicated raw food recipes, superfoods,… Drop the feelings of worry and guilt.Build a foundation by focusing on the basics go from there Make your raw food journey fun, not stressful and daunting!
19. Get into juicing & smoothing
Raw juices and smoothies are the ultimate energy, immunity and health boosters on the raw food diet!
The juices and smoothies literally squeeze out the plant goodness out of your greens/veggies/fruits to the max: enzymes, vitamins, minerals, alkalinity, amino acids, essential fatty acids..life force (if you’re a believer) and make it easier to get and assimilate into your body.
20. Get equipped
To be successful on a raw diet, it is important to make sure that you have the right equipment for preparing raw food, appliances do make the raw food culinary experience easier, much more versatile and fun.
– Cutting Board
– Sharp Knives
– Spiral cutter
– Milk bag
– Glass jars, stainless steel bottles, BPA-free containers
– Blender – Blend fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices to make delicious raw creations – soups, salsas, spreads, dips and smoothies…you name it
– Juicer – Home made fresh juices will take your raw food diet to a new high!
– Dehydrator – Convenient way how to make truly raw biscuits, cakes, crackers, breads, dried fruit etc.
Having said all that, there is a good reason why you do NOT have to buy any raw food appliances at all when you go raw!!!!!
21. Get over it
If you’ve been exploring raw long enough, you’ll be bombarded by ideas such as: cooked food is poison, every rumble in your stomach is a detox symptom, and the biggest mistake in your life is not to do a juice fast and series of colonic.
Oh, and then they tell you that fruit is bad, fat is bad, protein is bad, you can’t eat veggies because they’re full of fiber and sprouts are bad for you because of all the starch in them. So you might as well end the pain and become a ‘breatharian’ since the point of eating raw is to ultimately at minimum levels anyway to stay forever young. Let’s return back to earth.
