Wishes for good health and longevity are always heard when making toasts, or when writing greeting and birthday cards. Myths, legends and fairy tales also have this idea as a leitmotif: For example, the Japanese believe that they can rejuvenate when hitting a magical broom, and in other, more rational, cultures eating some unusual fruit restores both health and youth.
Anyhow, Nature holds the answers to all our needs. And one of the greatest Nature’s resources for rejuvenation is water, of course. Water is crucial in the transfer of nutrients to cells and helps the removal of toxins from the body, so lack of this essential fluid can actually endanger our health and speed up the aging process.
This claim is not based on the infinite news and blogs on water written every day because here we have a living proof that this is a simple truth – water really brings health and longevity to our organism, making us look younger, healthier and more energetic:
Sarah Smith, a 42-year-old Briton and a mother of two children, constantly suffered from migraines and indigestion. Both her doctor and nutritionist recommended her to stop caffeine intake and to increase the consumption of water instead.
“I am 42, but I have to admit I look more like 52 in this picture, which is shocking. There are dark shadows under and around my eyes, which make me look exhausted, a profusion of wrinkles and strange reddish blotches, and my skin lacks any luster. I looked dead,” says Sarah.
Weight: 54 kilos
Sarah used to begin her day with a cup of tea, and then had some water during lunch and dinner – or an average of one liter of water a day.
When she got the information that one in five women does not get enough water in the body, she decided to try an experiment – a four-week trial period of consuming the recommended amount of water.
Three liters of water sounds a lot, so the doctor advised her that only rapidly increased intake of water could leave health consequences.
He instructed her to drink one liter of water in the morning, then one liter in the afternoon and finally one liter in the evening. “Your kidneys, which filter out harmful substances from the blood before they turn them into urine, will feel the benefit soon,” he said to her.
Weight: 53.5 kilos (lost half a kilo)
“My complexion is improving and my skin tone is more even. I still have wrinkles under my eyes, but they look less creepy and shadowy than before. The blotches on my face are diminishing, and the shadows around my eyes are less pronounced.”
Weight: 53 kilos (lost another half a kilo)
Waist: 70 cm (lost 1 cm)
She is starting to notice significant changes about her eye bags. In addition, she is slimming down.
“The dark rings and wrinkles under my eyes have virtually disappeared, and my skin looks plumper and more nourished. My friend, who is a beauty therapist, says this is because the water is helping my skin cells regenerate more efficiently,” says Sara.

Waist: 69 cm (lost another 1 cm)
Sarah is delighted with the results. She did not realize how much water will rejuvenate her skin. Look at her before and after the experiment in the pictures below:
We can see that even her lips were shriveled, which is a classic sign of poor hydration. Sarah’s new looks and feeling once again proves that each system and function in our body depends on ‘buckets of water’ for normal functioning. Water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to the cells, and eliminates toxic substances. If you do not get enough water, your body will gradually weaken in the course of time.
After 28-day-long drinking of three liters of water a day, Sarah solved her premature aging problem and came up with stunning results. I took her only four weeks to make her face look completely different. She looked her own age again, and even younger some said to her!
“The dark circles around the eyes are completely gone, and the redness likewise. Her skin became smooth almost like when she was a child,” says her nutritionist which followed her through the experiment.
Sarah also felt much healthier, livelier and thinner, which is unbelievable because nothing else changed in her routine except the amount of water she had. She didn’t give up even her “party life” and the occasional cup of alcohol. She just drank enough water, and woke up fresh in the morning.
Sarah advises all women to do the same – drink three liters of water a day and see what happens! Of course, before you start this ‘water therapy’, make sure you consult a physician.
