Weight loss isn't just about food and exercise. Certain drinks can help you lose weight, too. Here are 5 fat burning drinks to introduce into your diet.

No - we're not talking about any chalky Slimfast shakes or meal replacement anything. We're talking about low-calorie beverages you can drink during your day when you need a break.

These fat burning drinks are all science backed and easy to find. Learn what to stock up on below.

  1. Water

Yes - we're serious. Drinking water is the best thing you can do for your body (other than feeding it well and exercise) and barely anyone gets enough water per day.

Since a lot of people don't get enough water intake, they can mistake thirst as hunger. Drinking enough water makes you eat less and snack less often.

To find out how much water you need take your weight and multiply it by 2/3. That number is how many ounces you need per day.

Cold water is best, as it takes more calories to digest than regular water. The body has to bring it to your normal body temperature before it processes it through your kidneys.

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar Drinks

This isn't just a hippie, Pinterest cure anymore. There are research studies where obese people that drank Apple cider vinegar (ACV) every day lost more weight than those in a placebo group.

Why? We think that it regulates insulin levels, which keeps your energy up. When people have blood sugar crashes (which are normal in the digestive process) they solve it by eating more.

The longer you can put off snacking, the better it is for your waistline (though you should snack!)

Want to add this to your daily routine? Mix two tablespoons of ACV in a glass of water and drink it in the morning. Ideally on an empty stomach.
