Head injuries are serious because the brain is the most important organ in our body. Knockout blows to the head can lead to serious health problems.

Some head injuries are even terminal and cannot be cured. This is why it's important to take head injuries seriously and always seek immediate medical attention when you feel any symptom.

Head injuries should not be taken lightly because some of them can lead to permanent damage, disability, or even death if not treated on time.

Dizziness

Repeated vomiting or nausea can be a sign that there is a problem with the brain. If it continues for more than 24 hours without any improvement in symptoms, it is important to get in touch with your doctor who will evaluate you further and provide treatment accordingly.

Dilation of One or Both Pupils of the Eyes

Dilation of one or both pupils of the eyes is a sign of a serious head injury and it is an indication that the brain has been damaged.

When someone gets a head injury, they usually experience immediate changes to their vision. They might see flashes or distortions in a color that can last up to 3 days. This complication is often referred to as chemical amnesia.
