However, taking it right before breakfast would ensure that you get a headstart at body detoxification.

To make yourself a cup of lemon water, boil a cup of water and squeeze one full lemon into it. You can improve the taste with about 2 tablespoons of honey.

Apple Cider Vinegar in Water

Apple cider vinegar has a lot of benefits. Some of them include lowering blood sugar, eliminating body pathogens, and boosting weight loss. These benefits make this beverage a proper before-breakfast beverage, especially for older individuals.

All you need to do is mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, ½ tablespoon of ground cinnamon, and two tablespoons of lemon juice in a cup of water. Then add a pinch of cayenne to the mix. And if you want to make it sweeter, go for two tablespoons of honey.

Vegetable Juice

Fruit juices are good for your health. But right-out-of-the-carton fruit juices contain a lot of sugar, which may not be the best for you if you're trying to reduce your sugar or calorie intake. However, you can start your day on a healthier note in the form of vegetable juice.

Vegetables have surplus nutrients, including vitamins and minerals, that your body needs to remain healthy. When you start your day off with them, you tick off a significant part of your daily nutrient requirements. And a bonus to drinking vegetable juice in the morning is that it is just as filling as water and some vegetables themselves.

Green Tea

You can trace the history of green tea back to ancient China. And if this beverage is still being sought after thousands of years later and backed by modern medicine, it is definitely something you want to start your day with. Green tea helps to keep your immune system strong and fights against some forms of cancerous growth. It also has a wealth of antioxidants, making it a perfect beverage to kickstart your day with.


Coffee is last here because it is already very common. Almost everyone drinks coffee, more as a routine than for what it actually does for them. But there’s no denying that coffee has a lot of benefits. Apart from keeping your mind sharp and focused, coffee can also help reduce body fat. If you want the best out of coffee, drink it black. But if it’s too bitter for you, brighten up the taste with milk, cream, or flavorings. Don’t forget to use your favorite coffee mug to really get your day off to a great start.
