If you haven’t noticed, people want what they want fast, and weight loss isn’t any different. The thing about losing weight fast is that it has such a negative connotation behind it like it’s not realistic or it’s not safe…

Now, there are indeed some unsafe ways to lose weight fast like the Cotton Ball Diet or the Tapeworm Diet. Those are what you would call “Crash Diets,” they’re what you want to avoid on your weight loss journey. But there are also some highly achievable and safe ways to do so as well, and they’re totally backed by science... Those are the ways we’re going to discuss today.

So, if you’re one of those people who want things done fast, including losing weight, don’t be afraid or nervous. If you’re going to approach rapid weight loss, you want to do it in a safe way that’s been backed by science.

Ways to Lose Weight Fast That Has Been Backed By Science

Drink Water Before Every Meal

Medical News Today reported a study that found that people who drank two cups of water before every meal, while on a controlled diet, lost 5lbs more than people who didn’t drink water before meals but on the same diet.

The thing about drinking water before you eat is that it gives you a feeling of being full, causing you to eat less. Our minds can actually play tricks on us when it comes to hunger…

Have you ever felt so hungry that you could “eat a horse?” Everyone has at some point. But the reality behind some of our hunger pains is that we’re not even that hungry. Sometimes our hunger is really our bodies being dehydrated. So when you feel extremely hungry, drink a glass or two of water to see how hungry you feel after that.

If you’re still that hungry, then you indeed are hungry, but the majority of the time, we’re really just dehydrated and aren’t as hungry after drinking water. This is one of the fastest and most natural appetite suppressants.

Go on a Juice Cleanse

One area of research that’s getting major coverage is the health of your gut. Most people gain a lot of their weight in their mid-section but what they don’t realize is that their gut hosts over 30 trillion different microorganisms, which includes gut bacteria… This gut bacteria is one of the major contributors to fat deposition and weight gain.

But there is also good bacteria in your gut as well, and it’s the good bacteria you want to keep around. So how can you cleanse your gut and lose weight? By going on a juice cleanse.

There are actually lots of juice cleanses out there that are intended for weight loss but before choosing one, you want to always make sure to check the label for ingredients. If you’re going to go on a juice cleanse, look for one that supports a healthy gut.

A few key factors to look for in a juice cleanse should include:

  • 100% plant-based
  • Probiotics and prebiotics
  • Dairy, gluten, and soy-free
  • No sugar added
  • No preservatives.

If the juice cleanse doesn’t have any of these key terms and phrases on the label, it’s not going to promote a healthy gut. This is also a great way to cut back on your carb intake as well, which will make those pounds drop almost immediately.

Incorporate Physical Activity Daily

Incorporating physical activity into your daily routine doesn’t mean that you have to get extreme and go to bootcamp classes every week, but incorporating some form of physical activity in your routine is going to help you drop weight fast, especially if you don’t have an active lifestyle.

You can take the stairs at work, you can walk your neighborhood after dinner, and you can simply work out right from your living room with virtual workout classes for all levels of fitness. The whole point is to get moving and get your heart rate up; If you can get your heart rate up from physical activity, you’re well on your way to a healthy and speedy weight loss journey.
